Bernardo's background is in engineering design and drafting. He also has experience in home construction and remodeling, with exposure to the structural components of homes as well as electrical, plumbing and other systems.
Born in Monterrey, Mexico, Bernardo speaks fluent Spanish and English, with the ability to read and write in both languages. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), a licensed real estate agent and a licensed private pilot.
Mr. Melendez is a graduate of the Champions School of Real Estate (inspector training); Kaplan Professional Schools (real estate salesperson training); the Networking Technologies Program at Southern Methodist University; a member of the International Code Council (ICC); the Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR) and the Champions Inspector Association (CIA). CIA members are required to maintain twice the number of inspector continuing education credits per year of that required by the Texas Real Estate Commission, making CIA members more knowledgeable and therefore better able to provide quality service to our clients.
